Z to the Rescue!

Its hard to believe that its been a month since we hit a wall with Robert's self employment verification. I was starting to grow anxious over how we were going to resolve this and get the paperwork out of our hands and into Ukriane. But thanks to my friend Z, that's not an issue any longer. Talk about knowing people who know people! One trip to Starbucks and two short car trips later and the problem was history.

Robert and I sat down at our bank and had the last documents notarized this afternoon. The complete dossier will finally be sent for apostilling tomorrow (I've said that at least five times in the last month). I'm hoping to have it back and send it off to Ukraine on Friday.

Leslie, thank you for visiting our blog! I'm so happy to hear that your paperwork is almost done! My dossier has been sent to Ukraine 3 months ago, should be submitted very soon, so there is a possibility that we can be in Odessa at the same time! Wouldn't it be great?

Great news on getting the last of the paperwork figured out. The apostile process went pretty quick for us. Has your facilitator stated if and where in the submission line they are with a slot for your dossier? How has the progress of submissions been going, have you heard? Our time line was submitted in June, notified in July of a September date. I do believe that it helps knowing the child/children one is going to get and the fact that they are older children. Good news to that you will be going off season, just hopefully not the way off winter season :| God Bless!
