To remain inactive or in a state of repose, as until something expected happens

"Alex, What is waiting?"

I have a confession to make. I'm not really good with the "waiting" thing. Its only been two weeks and I'm already getting anxious. Those of you who have been waiting months are laughing at me; I know. Can I just say, waiting stinks. No really, I don't like this at all.

"Alex, I'll take 'Things that will get this adoption moving' for $500."

UGH! I'm with you sister! I can't stand waiting...but I think I've told you that before. We should be hitting the 20-day mark next week...but I think I'm going to go insane before then! ;)
BTW - What's the daily double question?

My friend,
I promise that I am NOT laughing at you. I will also agree with you that at every stage, the waiting does stink!

Good to see you're keeping your sense of humor and wit!

Tami, I'm not sure what the daily double is, but here's the Final Jeopardy question: "a prescribed number". The answer? "What is a quota?". Let's hope that question doesn't come up before we get our dates!

I agree with you; waiting is the pits! But at least you are waiting for something good! You could be waiting for some gross medical procedure or something...

Leslie,
I keep thinking / knowing that it all happens in the Lords timing. Things start to smooth out. Look at all those folks that got summer dates that had to deal with the passport issues and the HEAT :|

I am hoping that everything works out and just flies for you guys. Maybe we can pave the way for you some. Out of curiosity, did you ever find out if our Alyona is your daughters friend? Are they in the same class, cuase if so, and we take Alyona, she will only have one other girl :(
I hope that we can have Alyona bring her back to the apartment and we can do a phone call for you. Give us your phone number in a private email to jobthedog and we will see what we can do!

Keep the faith, He is faithful!
