The Journey Home

It's hard to believe we were in Ukraine a year ago navigating the uncertain adoption process. Our thanks to all those who made this journey possible.

The past year has flown by so quickly. Its amazing to see the changes in Kristina - how she's has grown and matured. Thanks for sharing the video. It brought back so many memories from not only your trip, but ours as well. I never would have dreamed, as I followed your journey a year ago, that we would be following the same path to find Maddie. Thanks for blogging about your process - it made ours that much smoother. ;>)

Oh, man. It is amazing how time flew.

I just want you to know that I really happy for you guys, and I wish you my best as another year has started for you as a family. It's so cool to see God's blessing upon our families.

Thank you for sharing your journey
with us.

It's hard to believe it's already been a year. I remember first finding your blog and thinking we may be travelling soon, only now are we in Yalta. Though each child is an individual, I'd be interested in knowing some of the issues you've had. We are adopting two older girls which want to start school soon after arriving home.

A whole year already! Wow! It makes me pause to think that we are only a few months from that point ourselves. My, how the time truly flies!
Kristina is blessed but, I know you will agree, you are all blessed more than you can express. Congratulations to your beautiful family!

Is IS amazing to think that I was following your blog on pins and needles this time last year. I praise God for how He brought Kristina into your lives and hearts forever. She is becoming such a lovely young lady and is thriving in your home. May God continue to bless you all!

It was great to see Karina in the video, The Journey Home. We hope that Karina and Kristina will be able to see each other when Karina comes home...very soon.

I could not stop crying as I watched this video. I thought of so many things you went through throughout the process. It brought back those memories of me following your blog (also on pins and needles waiting for an update). And it reminds me of what we are going through right now. Seeing the plane ride, I couldn't help but daydream about Grisha in the seat next to me. We are almost there, but it still seems so far away. Man, the tears won't stop. I have cried more in this adoption process than I ever did while pregnant.

What a wonderful video!
