almost 40 minutes later than we had planned, but we made incredible time
to the airport. The good byes were low key, thankfully, and we were
through check in and security faster than I have ever been. JetBlue into
JFK was a breeze with the exception of some turbulence right before
landing. Robert is not a seasoned travelor, so he was a little shaken by
the experience (in a totally macho way).
So now we wait. I forgot to ask Theresa what time she and Mark would be
flying into JFK. I guess we'll know her by the "Ukraine or Bust!"
t-shirt she'll be sporting!

We pray your trip is without a hitch! I hope you'll be able to post video of your reunion with Kristina!
Bon Voyage!
Have a good flight to Kiev! Can't wait until you post next time! Don't worry, everything will work out great!
Leslie,
You were such a big support to us on our trip and we want you to know how honored we are to be praying for you.
Hi Leslie! I've been thinking about you all weekend and praying for you, knowing that you'd be on your way to the Ukraine. When my family sat down at church this morning, guess what we had in store for us? We had one of Northland's church partners in the Ukraine giving the service message this morning. He spoke in Russian and was translated by another member of his church over there. Very cool. I thought of you even more!
Love, Christine
Oh, I'm so excited for you guys. Pryaing for safe travels!
I guess there are worse places to be waiting. Remember those pics of the Odessa Bus Station...JFK isn't bad...and let me tell you, I am looking forward to that next stateside layover...cause it will be to do immigration. Lord keep you all safe on this grand adventure you have undertaken.
"He (the Lord) is before all things, and by Him all things hold together." Col 1:17
May God Bless EVERY step of your journey. Our family is waiting on our appt. date now!!!! Thanks for allowing me to follow your story. I will pray for you!

Hey Leslie,
I am praying that things will go smoothly. I know Kristina will be overjoyed to see you, knowing that you're there to bring her home to her new family. Grace, peace, and joy to the Landrums.

I am so glad that you made it to JFK safely and I can't wait to see your next blog! JC and I prayed and talked about you a lot yesterday. We were thinking of your trip and hoped you arrived safely. We love you and are praying for you. Tell Grisha I love him SOOOOO much and I miss my sweetie! I know how to say, "I love you very much" in Russian and I wish I could say that to him right now.
We'll be praying for Robert on this leg of the trip! Traveling mercies, dear friend!
